Personal Assistant Web Application Usage Guide

Welcome to the Personal Assistant web application! This guide will walk you through how to make the most out of this tool. Whether you need to create personas or craft prompt templates, follow these easy steps to get started.

Dashboard Navigation Access

To access the personal assistant features, you need to login first to the system, and click to the “Personal Assistant” icon on top-right of the system. Once done, it will automatically open https://personalassist.officio.work/ to accessing directly.

After logging in, you will find the main dashboard which gives you a snapshot of key functions like managing personas and prompt templates.

Important sections

• Personas: Manage and create different personas.
  • Persona assists in crafting individual personas to bring personality and engagement to your conversations.
  • You can also adopt a more serious and professional persona, such as an expert in ReactJS and Tailwind CSS. With this persona, you can address questions about these technologies using their specific coding patterns and styles.
• Prompt Library: Access and develop your prompt templates.
  • You can create numerous prompt scripts and save them here. They will be useful when you initiate open conversations.
  • There is no limit to the number of prompts that can be saved.

Personas

Creating a Persona

1. Go to the “Personas” section.
2. Click “New Persona”.
3. Fill out the form:
   • Name: Enter the persona’s name.
   • Short Description: A brief description.
   • Personality: Describe the tone, behavior, and characteristics.
   • Expertise: Highlight knowledge and skills.
   • Example: Provide a scenario involving this persona.
4. Click “Save”.

Using a Persona

1. Select a persona from the “Personas” list.
2. Start using the persona by initiating a conversation.

Example guide to create persona:

• Personality: [Describe the personality e.g. the tone of voice, the way they speak, the way they act, etc.]
• Expertise: [Describe the expertise of the personality e.g. Customer service, Marketing copywriter, etc.]
• Example: [Describe an example of the personality e.g. a Marketing copywriter who can write catchy headlines.]

Prompt Library

Creating a Prompt

1. Navigate to the “Prompt Library”.
2. Click “Add New Prompt”.
3. Complete the form:
   • Name: Add the prompt’s title.
   • Short Description: A brief instruction (e.g., “Write a funny joke that a 5-year-old would understand”).
4. Click “Save”.

Information to insert within:

• Prompt Name
• Description about the prompt

Utilizing Prompts

You can use the saved prompts to facilitate creative thinking and idea generation. During chat, either openly  or with your created persona, click on the prompt library icon to view and select which prompt is available and suitable for usage.

Chat with File

Users can utilize this functionality to upload their files through the portal and engage in chat discussions related to the content of those files.

Advantages of using this approach:

1. Simple and easy to use.
2. File content is indexed and maintained within the chat interface and it is only available for the current chat session.

Once the file is uploaded, the content is extracted and indexed using our built-in AI Search.

Extract Insight from Image

Vision-enabled chat capabilities can analyze images and provide textual responses to questions about them. They incorporate both natural language processing and visual understanding.

Users can upload an image and ask the Personal Assistant to interpret it accordingly. For a more precise level of analysis, it is best to use it together with the persona that has been created.
